Limerick Lake Welcomes You
The Limerick Lake Estates scenic cottage subdivision is located on Limerick Lake. Limerick Lake is the largest lake in the Township of Limerick, a freshwater lake in the Trent River and Lake Ontario drainage basins. It is a scenic lake that is lined with bedrock shores.

The Township of Limerick is situated 80 km north of Belleville between Madoc and Bancroft. The Township which forms part of the County of Hastings is bordered by the Town of Bancroft, Township of Wollaston and the joined Townships of Tudor & Cashel.
The lake is approximately 7.1 km long and 2.2 km wide with a surface area of 829 hectares. The average depth is 10 metres and the maximum depth reaches 31 metres. There are many small creek inflows to the lake. The two main inflows being Dixon Creek at the northeast and Bass Creek at the southwest. The primary outflow is a channel to the St. Ola Lake.
The lake is typically frozen over from late November to late April each year.
The area is a favourite location for anyone looking for beautiful scenery, great fishing, all seasons sports & recreation, or just to relax and get away to your own personal Northern Ontario paradise.
